This chapter would be at full strength, bear different heraldry, and have a different name than the original Lion Guards chapter. However, a chapter would emerge from the Eastern Fringe during the 41 st Millennium claiming to be the survivors of the Zulup supernova incident. It was believed that the chapter was annihilated along with the system and were registered as a Lost Chapter. The Lion Guard chapter would lose its homeworld when the Zulup star would unexpectedly supernova, destroying the entire system.
The Lion Guards homeworld was the jungle-covered Death World of Zulup IX, located deep within the Eastern Fringe and the peoples from which the chapter was made were the “Zulupian Predators” as they had become known to the Imperium aggressive and tribal peoples who were rumored to have hunted the other tribes on the planet for sport and as rites of passage. The Void Lions Chapter-Tribe, also known as “ The Great Pride”, “ Leonicine Inatrii” or the " Leonicines" are a loyalist chapter of Adeptus Astartes created during the 23 rd Sentinel Founding in the latter half of the 37 th Millennium under the name of The Lion Guards Chapter.
